Welcome to my travel blog! I’m Maxime, a passionate banker from Belgium who has been exploring the world since childhood. After focusing on saving for a house, I realized it was time to embrace life’s adventures again. During the COVID pandemic, I began planning small trips with friends, family, and my boyfriend Rutger (affectionately known as Rudy), reigniting my love for travel and discovery.

My travel style is all about finding the perfect balance between experiences and budget. I’m neither a budget traveler nor a luxury seeker; instead, I prioritize experiences that truly resonate with me. Some of my all-time favorite destinations include Jordan and Madeira, both of which offer incredible diversity and unique experiences. One of my most memorable moments was visiting Petra during the Israel war, where we had the Treasury all to ourselves. These experiences not only enrich my travels but also allow me to support local communities during challenging times.
